...a project of Transculturalism, International Activism and Migration
T I A M. (Spanish/Portuguese: Aunt M.) is a project by and for transgender, intersex and queer people with migrational, transcultural or cosmopolitical backgrounds as well as for anybody who wants to support or organize international campaigns around the topics Transgender and Intersexuality.
T I A M. is a loving Auntie, who offers
a multicultural and multilingual meeting space for transgender, intersex and queer people
and plans to offer
- information and advice for everyday life and specific problems
- support in dealing with official institutions and bureaucracy
- courses in German as a foreign language
T I A M. is also an Auntie who shows solidarity
by seeking cooperation and networking with transgender/intersex/queer organizations worldwide and by organizing solidarity actions in cooperation with internationally acting transgender/intersex/queer organizations such as the Transgender Network Berlin TGNB (www.tgnb.de) or the European Transgender Network TGEU.net (www.tgeu.net).
